The report, developed by Lazarski University in collaboration with PASMI, discusses, among other things, the place and role of self-care in the healthcare system, legal and market aspects, as well as the economic and personal benefits resulting from self-care. The chapter prepared by Monika Duszyńska, entitled The place of self-medication in national and international legal regulations, describes, among other things, legal regulations in Poland and selected other countries (e.g. France, Sweden, the Netherlands, the USA) concerning OTC drugs. The report was positively reviewed by Professor Marcin Czech, M.D., Ph., and Agnieszka Mastalerz-Migas, M.D, PhD., UMW professor and national consultant for family medicine.
