The discussion on the substitution of biological medicines still raises a lot of controversy and doubts. A scientific seminar “Substitution – Replacement – Switch of biological drugs” held on 18 June 2018, was devoted to this topic. One of the speakers was Monika Duszyńska, who talked on EU guidelines and practices of selected regulatory agencies regarding the interchangeability and substitution of biological medicines.
