Paulina is a lawyer. She is a graduate of Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at Wrocław University. In 2022, she also completed postgraduate studies at the Lazarski University in Warsaw in the field of Management in the pharmaceutical sector. Paulina provides legal advice concerning medical products, medical devices, food supplements, foods for particular nutritional uses and cosmetics. She reviews drafts of promotional materials of the above products to ensure its compliance with the Polish law and the European law. In addition, she advises on compliance and unfair competition issues.

Paulina’s interests also include clinical trials and copyright. At University, she was an active participant of the Students’ Scientific Club of Biomedical Law. She contributed to the content of the sessions of national scientific conferences, lectures and workshops concerning medical and biomedical law, including the National Student-Doctoral Science Conference ‘Contemporary challenges in Polish Healthcare System’ (Wrocław, 2018), and she was also an organiser of these events.

In December 2019, during the National Science Conference ‘Man and Medicine’, organised by UKSW University in Warsaw, Paulina had a presentation entitled ‘Medicine for a patient or a man for the medicine? Legal and ethical aspects of clinical trials’.

Paulina obtained the Rector’s scholarship for the high-achieving students. In June 2020, she defended her master degree thesis at the Department of International and European Law, entitled ‘Effectiveness of the EU laws and regulations on food supplements taken the example of Poland’.

Paulina willingly takes part in scientific conferences, practical training and expert seminars on a local and national scale. These activities include, among others participation in a certified medical mediations seminar, organized by the Legal Training Center in Warsaw (“Medical Mediations” seminar, dr Grzegorz Frączek, February 11, 2021, Warsaw), thanks to which Paulina enriched her knowledge with the valuable experiences of mediators – doctors and lawyers – in relations to healthcare services, as well as in legal disputes related to clinical trials, with particular emphasis on the patient’s rights in this area.
